The first step when configuring your New Era account is to add your personal calendar in Vyte, our scheduling software. This allows you to view your calendar when selecting available times for hearings, mediations, and pre-mediation conferences, making it easy to schedule these sessions.

Syncing your personal calendar with Vyte will not make that calendar public-facing. Instead, it allows you to see your personal calendar directly in the Vyte app when you create suggested dates/times. Syncing is not required for use of Vyte/New Era ADR, but can help keep your schedule more accurate.

  1. To add your calendar to Vyte, click on “My Account” in the top right menu.

  2. From My Account, click “Configure My Calendar” under the Vyte Calendar option to be taken directly to Vyte..

  3. In Vyte, click on “Settings” under the Account dropdown menu.

  4. Click "Add a Calendar Account" at the bottom of the options list.

  5. Sign into whichever calendar service you use for your main personal calendar. Options include:

    • Google

    • Office 365

    • Microsoft Exchange

    • iCloud

    • CalDAV

    • Read-only ICS

If you’re unsure about settings or login information for your particular email account, check with your IT team or whoever set up the account.

  6. Check the box next to the particular calendar you would like to appear in your Vyte view and click “Save" to complete the sync.

Moving forward, when you schedule a meeting through the New Era platform, you’ll see this calendar to help as you’re choosing available dates and times.
